JohnM's Photos
JohnM (picture page two)

JohnM, a.k.a, "Typo", is the first person I met from the WMI board last fall. John's become a good friend and a source of constant amusement, both on-line and while fishing, he's a character!

Here's the "big cigar smoker" himself, JohnM! Yup, this is the first picture John's sent me of a striped bass, so I moved all his other pictures to JohnM's page two, being that we are primarily striper guys here, I thought that fitting! :) So John took off for North Carolina after Christmas, he thought he was leaving us with no fish...much as is the usual January in NJ...but we had the first excellent January of bass fishing ever right here in NJ!! Granted, John had fish up to 28#'s, we only had them to 17-18#'s...and it was quite a bit warmer where John was...but hey, fish in January in NJ!!! Oh yea, this is John's page...uh um, here's John with his first Y2K bass...he tells me they are quite "compliant" in NC as well. It was a fat 19# guest of honor (yes, John's tall!)

Below, John has blessed us with the stomach contents of the fat bass he's holding....uh, thanks John :(

Below is John's tuna fishin' trip results...looks like bent rods were easy to come by that day! John, this is the time you rip out the "manly rod" and get a good look at your backing!!!

Here's the same fat 19#er along with some respectable 'specs! All nice fish...they almost look like weakfish, but they just ain't as pretty! That fat bass sure looks pretty though! ;)

John's holding a puppy drum here, he tells me they ate my red&white deciever like they were going out of style! Hey, can't blame a fish for having good taste, can ya?
