Paul Naj, SteveS' fishing buddy, and just a plain nice guy. It seems Paul and Steve share a love of fishing live stuff, possibly the most effective method, when done correctly, that there is. Top left is the exception, and it seemed to have surprised Steve and Paul, is a 41 pound striper that took, among all things, a wooden swimmer. Not only was it a wooden swimmer, it was one made by my good friend Tony back when he owned Driftwood Lures...now Tony's hand made plugs can be found at right here in our Online Store! The other two pictures are of fish that fell for the live stuff, the lower left is a 34# fish that took a calico crab, possibly the most deadly method for heavy fish at a time of year when the only other thing they eat is rigged eels! Bottom right is what Steve and Paul call "an ice-cold 6-pack", where Paul and Steve put together this impressive six fish limit...I'm sure they had their trophy tags with them! Nice fish Paul, next time Steve and I hit it, I hope you can be there as well! Keep it up with them LARGE!
