Here he is, MikeW, a.k.a. "Saltheart"! Boy, you'd think he was shy or something...he was a holdout to get his pictures here! A finer man you'd be hard pressed to find, he's a true gentleman, an devoted fisherman, and one of the most sincere human beings you'll likely run into. Even though he lives over 4 hours from me, we've somehow managed to spend a few nights banging the stripers at a couple different places. It's my pleasure to put his pictures here, and as you can tell by the relative size of these nice bass, he's no little boy! Thanks Saltheart for all the memories we've shared.
![]() Saltheart, with that characteristic smile he's rarely without, holding here the guest of honor, a 35 pound striper he took at Montauk on a rigged eel...a nice fish indeed! To the upper right, he's holding a 33# bass, it fell for, as Mike said, "A huge Danny plug, nearly 14" long!"...another fine specimen. Lower right, Mike holding a "racer" as he called this 41" 27 pound striper...again, Montauk! Don't you fish anywhere near where you live, Mike? ::)) Looking forward to our next trip.... |
