Here's a fellow canal rat, ScottG, holding his personal best canal fish! It's a nice fish, 39 inches! Scott tells me that he's taken fish up to 46" trolling tubes from a boat, but in his own words, this was "much more rewarding!" I couldn't agree more, Scott, fish taken from shore are taken on their own terms, not the captain of a boats! Maybe I'll bump into you next year when the saga continues with "Fishin' the Ditch, Jersey Style, Part IV".
