picked up something similar in the dollar store. In the kids isle they had colored extensions for girls. Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink. Tied some sandeel teasers with the blue, green and yellow. Caught bass on them last weekend.

It works!

Default Re: Hair Extensions

Have posted on this before, in another thread----
Artifical hair for 'extensions' is available in a wide variety of both natural & dyed colors. Some of it is 'kinkier' than others, depending upon brand, and makes a pretty good [though coarser] kinky-fiber sustitute.
Moreover, it comes in lengths exceeding 48-inches, and CHEAP.
Blend your own Farrar-type flash mixtures with Angel Hair, if desired.
Check out "ikickshins.net", and click on the link(s) at the left-hand side of the homepage for hair weaves. -----
And, while you're at it, also check out "cyberlox crin" tubing (unfortunately only available in 1/2" and 3/4" diameters, but in a great variety of colors).

Nice tie by the way.
I used my dogs hair once for a Fluke teaser... Didn't last very long...

I've read, somewhere, that human hair makes good flies, but haven't tried it.
